FAIB ... be international - in Belgium !

CIRFS is the European man-made fibres association based in the South of Brussels.We are currently looking for a new collaborator (M/F) for the statistical department.   Function : The candidate will be: 

• Reporting to the Head and Assistant Head of the Statistical Department
• In charge of the production/stocks/deliveries database
• Collecting and entering the data and providing monthly reports to the marketing departments of CIRFS member companies
• Participating to the publication of the statistical yearbook
• Contributing to trend analysis and forecast workshops and preparing reports with the results
• Collecting  and distributing to members other information such as Eurostat production index, world GDP, etc.

  Profile : 

• University or comparable degree (preferably in economics but not a must)
• Very good knowledge of Excel (a must)) and other MS Office applications
• Analytical skills
• Comfortable with figures
• Rigorous and organised
• Capable of developing good relations with representatives of member companies from all parts of Europe
• Good spoken and written English, any other European language is an asset
• Additional informatics skills an asset
