Mr Aernoudt has a notable career in Belgian political life: Secretary General of the Department Economy, Science and Innovation of the Flemish Government, formerly Head of Cabinet to the Minister Fientje Moerman, and Assistant Head to the Minister Kubla.
Mr Aernoudt analyses political topics from the point of view of an economist, and with a splendid independence of mind.
