In addition to financial reporting risks, organisation’s boards and senior managements must oversee the effective management of its strategic, operational, and compliance risks ( including monitoring ethics and codes of conduct, as well as compliance with applicable corporate governance codes.) This is where they can look to their internal auditor for objective and independent assurance on these matters.
