CEPLIS, the European Council of the Liberal Professions is looking for a
Policy Trainee for a period not longer than five months, starting mid-May
2008. This position is remunare
CEPLIS is an umbrella organisation, bringing together national
inter-professional organisations and European mono-professional
associations all over the EU. Its aims, as defined in Article 2 of the
statutes, are "the study and the promotion, both at the scientific and
cultural levels, of all means, information and data related to the
exercise and policies of the liberal professions" (surveyors, surgerists,
engineers,etc.)
PROFILE:
The ideal candidate should:
- Be proficient in both English and French.
- Have a university degree in Political Science, International
Affairs, Law or European Studies.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a very strong command of the policies of the EU and the way of
functioning of the European institutions.
- Be motivated and able to work in a multicultural team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Policy Trainee will be asked to:
- Do research on European actuality topics presenting an interest for
the liberal professions.
- Attend meetings and conferences in the framework of European
institutions or associations.
- Collaborate in the writing of articles in the CEPLIS Newsletter or
in other publications of the organisation.
- Collaborate in the daily management of the Secretariat.
