COLIPA, the Brussels based European trade association of the cosmetic industry represents 25 national associations and 21 international companies.
It covers a wide range of regulatory issues impacting the European cosmetic industry.

Colipa has an opening for:

DIRECTOR LEGAL & INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

Main Responsibilities:
 Manage the Legal and International Affairs Department;
 Advise Colipa membership on legal and international issues, relevant for the cosmetics industry
 Develop and implement – together with membership – legal and international strategies, relevant for the European cosmetics industry;
 Contribute to constructive and pro-active communication on legal and international issues between the association, the European institutions, inter-national organisations and other stakeholders;
 Management of the human and budget resources of the legal/international department;

Required Qualifications and Skills:
 Solid academic legal background in European Law with at least 8 years of proven, relevant professional experience, preferably within a company, the European Institutions or in a Trade Association;
 Perfect command of English; good knowledge of French and/or German would be an asset;
 Strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, team player.
